The Goiânia International Film Festival is an independent cultural festival, which was born from the desire to encounter films outside the commercial circuit, from the necessity of dissident, inventive and powerful narratives found visibility and listening.
It's a space for welcoming and encounter between works of the most varied genres, in different films, providing a connection between spectators and cinematographic directors from Goiás with films from other regions of Brazil and the world.
Selected by experienced curatorial bodies within specific exhibitions, independent films from around the world find at GIFF, an audience eager for new and intriguing forms of cinematic art.
